I didn't find a product-marketing context file, so this plan rests on your brief plus a few assumptions. They are:
- US-based firms, so tax season runs January to April.
- About 1 to 1.5 posts per week is realistic for two people.
- No keyword data or customer-call data yet.
Treat the scores below as hypotheses until you validate them.
1. Content pillars
| Pillar | Why it fits | Primary stage |
|---|---|---|
| A. Bookkeeping automation (hub) | Product-led. This is the category you want to own. | Awareness to consideration |
| B. Firm capacity and profitability | Audience-led. Small firms are capped by headcount and hours, and automation is the lever. | Awareness, and shareable |
| C. Tech stack and integrations | Search-led. Accountants search "[tool] automation", "[tool] alternatives" and "best software". | Consideration to decision |
| D. Client workflow (collection, close, onboarding) | Support- and sales-led. This is where the daily pain sits. | Implementation |
I'd skip an "advisory services" pillar for now. It's a good topic, but it dilutes a team of two.
Cluster map
A. Bookkeeping automation (HUB: complete guide)
├── Bank reconciliation automation ─┐
├── Transaction categorisation ├─ link to C (QBO / Xero)
├── Glossary of automation terms ─┘
B. Capacity & profitability
├── Hourly-billing opinion piece
├── Product-data piece: where firm time actually goes
└── ROI / hours-saved calculator → links to A hub + demo
C. Stack & integrations
├── QuickBooks Online automation
├── Xero automation
├── "[Competitor] alternatives"
└── Best bookkeeping automation software for accounting firms
D. Client workflow
├── Client document collection (stop chasing)
├── Month-end close checklist (template)
└── Busy-season roundup (15 firm owners)
Cross-cutting: Stats roundup, case study, behind-the-scenes post
Every spoke links up to its hub. Every C piece links to the matching A spoke. Every piece ends with one CTA, either the demo or the calculator.
2. How to prioritise
Score each idea 1–10 on Customer Impact (40%), Content-Market Fit (30%), Search Potential (20%) and Resources (10%). Rank by the weighted total. Illustrative scores:
| Idea | Impact | Fit | Search | Resources | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bank reconciliation automation | 8 | 9 | 7 | 8 | 8.1 |
| Client document collection | 9 | 8 | 6 | 8 | 8.0 |
| Complete guide (hub) | 7 | 9 | 8 | 4 | 7.5 |
| Competitor alternatives | 7 | 9 | 7 | 6 | 7.5 |
| Hourly-billing opinion | 7 | 7 | 4 | 7 | 6.4 |
| Stats roundup | 5 | 6 | 9 | 7 | 6.3 |
Two adjustments to the raw ranking:
- The hub ships first even though it scores lower. The spokes need something to link to.
- The stats roundup ships despite its score. Foundation Inc.'s B2B backlink study (a single-vendor study, so directional) found these pages earn about 4x the links relative to their share of pages. They're cheap, and the stats are easy for LLMs to cite.
To replace my guesses with evidence, spend an hour on the Impact score. Pull your last 10 sales calls and support tickets, and tally which pains recur. Then check volumes in Search Console and a keyword tool.
3. Q1 2027 calendar (Jan 4 – Apr 2): 16 pieces
The split is 10 searchable (about 60%), 5 shareable (about 30%) and 1 experimental (about 10%). I over-weighted searchable because a 12-post blog needs a base.
Pre-work (December):
- Audit the 12 existing posts. Refresh or consolidate the best 2–3 as early cluster spokes.
- Start the roundup outreach now, because experts take weeks to reply.
- Pull anonymised product data for the data piece.
Timing: your readers are buried from February to April. Front-load production in January and February. In March, spend the time on distribution and refreshes rather than new heavy pieces.
| Wk | Piece | Mix | Type | Stage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bookkeeping automation: the complete guide | Search | Hub | Awareness |
| 2 | Bank reconciliation automation, step by step | Search | How-to | Awareness |
| 3 | Busy-season survival: 15 firm owners on what works | Share | Expert roundup | Awareness |
| 3 | Month-end close checklist for small firms | Search | Template | Implementation |
| 4 | QuickBooks Online automation for accountants | Search | Use-case | Consideration |
| 5 | Accounting firm statistics 2027 | Search and link-earning | Stats roundup | Awareness |
| 6 | "Hourly billing is why your firm can't scale" | Share | Thought leadership | Awareness |
| 7 | [Competitor] alternatives | Search | Comparison | Decision |
| 7 | Best bookkeeping automation software for accounting firms | Search | Comparison | Consideration |
| 8 | Client document collection: stop chasing clients | Search | Use-case | Implementation |
| 9 | Xero automation for accountants | Search | Use-case | Consideration |
| 10 | Where firm hours go: analysis of anonymised Ledgerly data | Share | Data | Awareness |
| 11 | Hours-saved / ROI calculator | Experiment | Interactive tool | Decision |
| 12 | Case study: a firm that took on more clients without hiring | Share | Case study | Decision |
| 13 | What we learned automating close for firms (behind the scenes) | Share | Meta | Awareness |
| 13 | Glossary: bookkeeping automation terms | Search | Glossary | Awareness |
The case study depends on a willing customer, so ask in December. If none is available, swap in a second data piece.
4. Execution rules for a two-person team
- Split by role, not by post. One person owns research, SEO and briefs. The other owns drafting, editing and distribution. Swap on the flagships.
- Per post: write 10 title options before drafting, and plan about 5 editing passes.
- Distribute twice. Write subheads and stats so they work as standalone social posts. Send every piece to the email list, since owned channels convert. Reuse flagships (hub, roundup, data piece) as LinkedIn posts and a newsletter issue.
- Measure monthly. Track organic clicks and rankings per cluster, demo requests from blog, backlinks to the stats page, and email signups. After week 6, re-rank the remaining pieces using what's ranking.
What I need from you to tighten this
- Notes from your last 10 sales calls or support tickets.
- Your top 3–5 real competitors.
- Which of your 12 existing posts get traffic or conversions.
- Whether your customers are US-based, which affects the busy-season timing.
I can turn any row of the calendar into a full brief, with title options, target keyword, outline and internal links.
Real run in an isolated folder with only this skill installed. Only the Skill and Read tools were enabled, so nothing was fetched from the web and no file was written. The example is fictional. The model looked for a product-marketing context file, found none, and said so.
.agents/product-marketing.md就先讀取,再詢問業務、客戶、現有內容與競品。 - 給出內容支柱、叢集、已評分的待辦清單與季度日曆。
適合什麼場景
需要一份計畫、而不是隨機發文的小型行銷團隊。
低風險:純指令檔,沒有腳本,不連網、不寫檔;只會在存在時讀取 `.agents/product-marketing.md`。它自己不會查關鍵字搜尋量或競品,任何搜尋資料都要來自你自己的工具。評分權重與 60/30/10 的比例是作者的經驗法則。部分連結指向本套件不包含的工具指南。已用一家虛構公司試用過一次。
