Please improve this product listing for my shop. Product: a 2-pack of reusable silicone food storage bags, 1 liter each, BPA-free (I have the supplier's test report), dishwasher safe, leakproof zip seal, comes in grey or green. I sell in the US, UK and Germany. Current title: "BEST!!! Silicone Bags Reusable Food Storage Ziplock Leakproof Freezer Eco Friendly Kitchen Sandwich Snack Bag 2 PACK". Current description: "Great bags. Buy now. Eco friendly and 100% safe, the number one choice of families." Photos: one white-background image and one lifestyle photo. I get about 40 visits a day and 1 order every 3 days.

Listing improvement: 2-pack reusable silicone food storage bags

1. Assumptions and missing facts to confirm

I don't know these yet. I've marked them [to confirm] in the copy below.

  • Material grade: is it food-grade or platinum silicone? Does the report cover LFGB (Germany) or FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 (US)? A BPA-free report doesn't prove either. Check which standards and which date the report covers, and whether it's for this exact product.
  • Dimensions: the capacity is 1 L. I also need the bag size in cm and inches, and the opening width.
  • Temperature range: freezer, microwave, oven, sous-vide and boiling limits.
  • Dishwasher: top rack only, or any rack?
  • Seal: what kind of seal is it (zip, slider, press), and have you tested leakproofing, for example upside down with liquid?
  • Colours: is the pack 2 of the same colour, or can the buyer mix them? Is each colour a separate variant?
  • Other facts: price, brand name, warranty and returns terms, and whether stock differs by market.
  • Markets: the UK and Germany need local-language listings. German needs a native title and bullets, not a literal translation. Please confirm the LFGB and EU/UK food-contact marking requirements for each market.

2. Keyword groups (by intent)

I have no search-volume data, so the priority is my judgement. Check it against your platform's search suggestions.

  • Product type: reusable silicone food storage bags; silicone freezer bags; reusable zip bags.
  • Attributes: 1 litre / 1 L / 34 oz; 2 pack; BPA-free; leakproof; dishwasher safe; grey, green.
  • Use case: sandwich, snack, marinating, freezing, lunch, meal prep.
  • Problem phrases: "replace single-use plastic bags", "stop leaks in the lunch bag". Use these only if they're true.
  • UK: "reusable silicone bags" and "litre".
  • Germany: "Silikonbeutel wiederverwendbar", "Gefrierbeutel Silikon", "auslaufsicher", "spülmaschinenfest", "BPA-frei".

3. Title options

Your current title has problems:

  • "BEST!!!" is a banned promotional word and unprovable.
  • The title is stuffed with synonyms.
  • The product type is buried in the middle.
  • "Ziplock" is a trademark.

Option A (US):
Reusable Silicone Food Storage Bags, 2 Pack 1 L (34 oz), Leakproof, Dishwasher Safe, BPA-Free – Grey/Green

Option B (UK):
Reusable Silicone Food Storage Bags, 2 Pack, 1 Litre, Leakproof Zip Seal, Freezer & Dishwasher Safe, BPA-Free

Option C (DE):
Wiederverwendbare Silikonbeutel 2er-Set, je 1 Liter, auslaufsicher, spülmaschinenfest, BPA-frei, für Gefrierfach & Lunch

Reasoning:

  • The product type comes first, because mobile screens cut off the end.
  • The title then gives quantity and size, then the main differentiators.
  • "Freezer safe" only goes in once you've confirmed the temperature range.
  • Check the length limit for your platform. If it's short, drop the colour.

4. Bullets and description

Bullets (English):

  1. Cut down on single-use bags: the 2-pack is made of silicone and can be washed and reused. [Do not say "saves X plastic bags" unless you can prove it.]
  2. Leakproof zip seal: a secure seal for liquids, marinades and soups. [to confirm: your test method, and whether it's suitable for upside-down storage]
  3. 1 litre per bag: holds sandwiches, snacks, chopped veg or leftovers. Size [to confirm: __ × __ cm].
  4. BPA-free silicone: [material grade to confirm]. A supplier test report is available on request. [Attach it only if it covers this exact product.]
  5. Easy to clean: dishwasher safe [to confirm: rack]. Turn it inside out for washing.
  6. Freezer-friendly: [to confirm temperature range, e.g. –20 °C to __ °C].
  7. Pick your colour: grey or green. [to confirm if mixed packs are available]

Description:

Swap disposable sandwich and freezer bags for a reusable alternative. This set includes 2 silicone food storage bags, 1 litre each, in grey or green.

Use them for lunches, snacks, marinating, freezer meal prep or leftovers. Fill, press the zip seal shut and store flat in the fridge or freezer. After use, rinse or run through the dishwasher.

Questions? Message us. [Add returns and warranty terms.]

I removed "100% safe", "number one choice of families" and "Eco friendly". These claims need evidence. "Eco friendly" is a regulated environmental claim in the UK and EU. You could say "reusable", which is factual.

5. Image plan

You have 2 images. Aim for 7 to 8.

  1. Main: white background, both bags, showing both colours if they're both available.
  2. Lifestyle: bag in use, such as sandwich or snacks (you already have this).
  3. Scale: a hand holding the bag, or a bag next to a sandwich, with the 1 L size labelled.
  4. Leak test: bag filled with coloured liquid, held upside down. Show this only if the test is real.
  5. Features: a close-up of the seal with short labels.
  6. Care: dishwasher, freezer and temperature icons. Add them only after you've confirmed the figures.
  7. Colours and what's in the box: the 2-pack, grey and green.
  8. Short video (10–15 seconds): filling, sealing, flipping.

Alt text examples:

  • "Two grey reusable silicone food storage bags, 1 litre each, on a white background"
  • "Green silicone bag filled with sandwiches and snacks on a kitchen counter"

Use German text on German-market images.

6. Risks to verify

  • Banned and unprovable words: "BEST", "100% safe", "number one".
  • Environmental claim: "Eco friendly" is restricted (UK CMA Green Claims Code, EU rules). Use "reusable".
  • Food-contact compliance: check the test report. It should cover the right standard for each market (FDA in the US, LFGB in Germany, EU 1935/2004 in the UK/EU). BPA-free alone isn't enough. Don't claim "FDA approved" unless you have documentation.
  • Trademark: remove "Ziplock".
  • German listing: you need a native-language listing, plus the legal requirements for the German market (such as seller information and packaging registration). Check with an adviser.
  • Temperature and dishwasher claims: state only what the supplier has verified.

7. Test plan

At 40 visits a day and roughly 1 order every 3 days, you convert at about 0.8%. That's low, but the sample is small. Treat the numbers as indicative only.

  1. Week 1–2: fix the title, bullets, description and claims (the changes above). Record the visits and orders before and after. Note that other factors also change over time.
  2. Next: add the additional images (scale, features, care). These usually move conversion most.
  3. Then: test the main image or a title variant. Change one thing at a time. Each test needs a few hundred visits per variant to say anything. At your traffic, that means weeks.
  4. Track: click-through rate, conversion rate, returns and reviews (what customers ask).

If you send me the supplier report details, the missing specs and your platform, I can finalise the copy, including the German version.

Real run in an isolated folder with only this skill installed. Only the Skill and Read tools were enabled, so no command was run and no file was written. The store and all numbers are invented and the model had no access to a real store. Legal, safety and platform points in the answer are flagged for verification, not confirmed. The copy contains placeholders marked to confirm.

What it does

Works on one listing at a time, for any store or marketplace. It starts from the product and the shopper's real questions, groups keywords by intent (product type, attributes, use case, problem), then gives a title pattern, benefit-first bullets, a description and a specification table. It plans the image set (main image, scale, features, what's in the box, care) with alternative text, and covers variants, price clarity and trust signals. Every fact it cannot confirm is marked [to confirm], and unsupported claims (health, safety, environmental, "best", "number one", trademarks) are listed for the seller to verify instead of being written in.

Output

Assumptions and missing facts, keyword groups, two or three title options with reasoning, ready-to-paste bullets and description, an image shot list, a risk list and a test plan that changes one thing at a time.

Good for

Improving a listing that gets visits but few orders, and writing a new one for several markets.

Notes & risks

Low risk: pure instructions with no scripts, no network access and no file writes. Claims about safety, materials, health or the environment, trademark use, and platform and market rules differ by country and change; the skill flags them for you to verify and gives no legal advice. It has no access to search volumes or your analytics, so keyword priority is a judgment. Translations and local-language listings still need a native speaker. It must not be used to write fake reviews or fake discounts. Original skill by AIBars (MIT). Tried once on an invented product.
